Return Policy

For anything other than gold or custom orders, I will accept returns only as long as I am notified and is mailed back to me in Canada within 14 days of you receiving it in the original packaging and in an unworn condition and will be subject to a 15% restocking fee. Shipping is non-refundable.

I must be contacted first before attempting to return the item, or it will be considered a forced return, thus voiding the refund option.

Customers are responsible for the return shipping costs and I will refund minus the restocking fee on the item once I've received it back in my hands.

Embrace the mystery with our Ghost Death Butterfly Adjustable Ring, a mesmerizing adornment inspired by the elusive allure of black butterflies. Handcrafted in .925 sterling silver or antique bronze, this adjustable ring showcases a death butterfly on the top that resembles a ghost orb or Hitodama. Designed by me at the request of a fellow anime enthusiast.

In Japanese folklore, it is believed that when a person dies, their soul transforms into a butterfly and then flies away. This belief is represented by the kaeru no ko sama, which is a stylized butterfly that is often seen on traditional Japanese gravestones.

DETAILS

  • Ring Dimensions: The top of the ghost orb is 1.2cm wide and the butterfly design is enamelled with black jewellery enamel, though I can do other colours upon request. The rest of the ring is 4mm wide with the end tapered. The ring is adjusted for your size per request, though can be adjusted a bit after. Though always recommend not to change the size constantly as it can cause the ring to break. 
  • Materials: available in either .925 sterling silver, a mix of 92.5% fine silver and 7.5% copper, OR antique bronze, a mix of 90% copper and 10% tin. Both are free of nickel, zinc or cadmium, which are common metal allergens, which can cause rashes and sores. For more info on bronze, read my blog post or consult my FAQ.
