Huge shoutout to my workshop sidekick, Mark Borakoff! He’s been a total lifesaver, keeping everything running smoothly while I’m off galavanting at conventions and living the chaotic life of a creator.
Mark and his buddy Bernie used to run Two Wacky Pin Guys, making epic sci-fi pins from shows like Babylon 5, Dr. Who, and Star Trek before they retired in 2019. Since joining my shop in late 2017, Mark’s been a rockstar, handling casting and finishing so I can focus on stones, social media, and polishing.
Plus, he’s added some seriously cool skills to our team, like creating designs we now make regularly and even moonlighting as a cat-whisperer when our feline friends need some TLC!
With his background in 3D design and his ability to work metal like a pro (seriously, he once carved a tank out of solid zinc by hand!), Mark’s brought a ton of fresh ideas to the table. He’s also a geometric design wizard, making things like the DHD pendant, keyblades, and geeky rings look amazing.
Mark’s a fellow geek, and even though he’s into classic sci-fi and I’m all about video games and anime, we totally vibe and make a great team. Thanks, Mark—you’re the best!
