This handmade Green Man pendant is a fresh take on a classic concept. Available in either .925 sterling silver or antique bronze.  He is perfect for anyone who likes Celtic style jewellery, or even those who want to feel closer to this particular forest god!

The Green Man symbolizes the embodiment of nature's regenerative and life-affirming forces, often depicted with a face surrounded by leaves, vines, or foliage. This mythical figure handcrafted into a Green Man pendant, is a powerful representation of the cycles of growth, renewal, and the interconnectedness of all living things in the natural world.

DETAILS

  • Materials: available in either .925 sterling silver, a mix of 92.5% fine silver and 7.5% copper, and antique bronze, a mix of 90% copper and 10% tin. Both are free of nickel, zinc or cadmium, which are common metal allergens, which can cause rashes and sores. For more info on bronze,  read the blog post or consult my FAQ
  • Pendant Dimensions: 3.5cm long plus the bail and 3cm wide. The bail can vary from one pendant to the next.
  • Shipping: Shipping is with tracking and full insurance. For international buyers, please be aware of taxes and duties are payable to your country and must be paid by the buyer and is not collected by me.
  • Due to the high cost of materials, chains are not included with any of my pendants. If you are looking for a chain, you have a selection found in my Chains & Engravings section of my shop.

This is my own take on the Celtic green man, an ancient god of the forest whose face is composed of oak leaves and eyes that hold the wisdom of the forest. I spent about 2 weeks researching different styles of the green man, and then after 15 hours of carving, finally created my own.
