If you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to vend at conventions, let me tell you: yes, I’m there to sell shiny, nerdy treasures… but also? I accidentally scored the BEST seat in the building for cosplay watching. Front row. All weekend. No ticket upgrade required! Louise can be seen helping me set up my tables, below. The past few weeks at Anime Ottawa and Nadeshicon in Quebec City felt like being dropped straight into a living, breathing fandom multiverse and I was just behind my booth, trying to act professional while internally screaming every five minutes.

These are just some of the amazing cosplays I caught on camera. There were so many more, stamped into my memory! A real treat this year.

By the end of each day, my feet are done, my voice is questionable, and my brain is somewhere between “sparkles” and “what year is it?”

…but I wouldn’t trade that view from behind my booth for anything.

Because where else do you get to exist in a space where creativity is THIS alive? Where people bring their favourite worlds into reality—and you get to witness it, celebrate it, and be a tiny part of it?

Anime Ottawa and Nadeshicon filled my heart (and absolutely drained my social battery in the best way possible).

I’m already excited for the next ones.

I’ll be there—behind my booth, pretending to be focused—while absolutely losing my mind over every incredible cosplay that walks by. 😌✨
