This sterling silver spider ring I made for the fun of it. The top is about 1 inch long with a 3D feel to it. The ring is a stock size 7, but easily adjusted to your size.
For many Native American tribes, spiders were important in mythology, though typically not to represent evil. Instead, these myths usually emphasized other characteristics of the spider, such as their creative abilities and their extreme cunning. Spiders are very popular in African folklore. They are usually very tricky but they almost always end up getting caught and learning a valuable lesson. One popular spider is Asnansi. The best known is a Greek myth about Arachne. She was a wonderful spinner of threads. As the myth goes, the Greek goddess Athena was very jealous of Arachne. Arachne bragged that she was a much more talented weaver than Athena, and challenged the goddess to a weaving contest. Arachne was quite arrogant and again insulted the goddess by weaving pictures that made the gods (titans) look bad. Athena became so angry that she turned Arachne into a spider and forced her to live the rest of her life weaving webs.

Cool ring. Just like the old plastic ones you had as a kid but in sterling silver!

Arrived quickly. Was a gift for my mother. She absolutely loved it
This is a beauy of a ring. It is larger than I thought and makesquite the statement. I love it!!
I've been searching for a design like this for years, I'm so thrilled to have found it. A bold size and design and I love that all the legs are attached so they don't get caught on anything. I do wish the spider were curved to fit the finger a bit more but I love it regardless
