Final Fantasy X Tidus Charm Pendant in Sterling Silver or Antique Bronze
This is a handmade charm based on the one worn by Tidus from Final Fantasy X in your choice of .925 sterling silver or antique bronze. The pendant is 2.4cm long plus the bail, 1.8cm wide and 1.5mm thick. The bail opening is 3mm wide. This pendant is light enough for smaller chains but perfect for everyday wear
This design was created around a custom request for a smaller version of my large Tidus pendant to be worn as a charm for a necklace or a charm for a bracelet. Like everything in my shop, this is a fan-made piece for those like myself who want to wear something of quality and won't cause you to break out in hives!
Ask any gamer that has played Final Fantasy X and they will know where the idea for these came from! I have played most of the games in the Final Fantasy series, and often get requests for pieces made based on the games. Well, your request is answered!
In Final Fantasy X, Tidus is a player for the Zanarkand Abes, an underwater sport of blitzball, and wears his team logo, based on a fish hook, as a pendant and earrings. The design is loosely based on the one from the game.
***Due to the high cost of materials, chains are not included with any of my pendants. If you are looking for a chain, you have a selection found in my Chains & Engravings section of my shop, or with this link https://www.etsy.com/shop/ledragonargente/?section_id=20961585***
Sterling silver is an alloy of silver containing 92.5% by weight of silver and 7.5% by weight of copper. The sterling silver standard has a minimum millesimal fineness of 925.
Bronze is an alloy that consists of a mixture of approximately 90% copper and 10% tin. Producing bronze is a less toxic process than producing brass as brass is a combination of copper and zinc, and the manufacturing process often produces zinc oxide which is toxic.
Because bronze contains copper, it can turn your skin green whether you have an allergy or not. Bronze and copper turn your skin green because when the copper reacts with your sweat and the acids from your skin, it produces copper chloride. Copper chloride is a green substance that then rubs off on your skin. If you are prone to sweating, your bronze jewelry will definitely turn your skin green. This chemical reaction can also be prevented by painting any part of the jewelry that comes in contact with your skin with clear nail polish or clear acrylic enamel.
Materials: Silver, Bronze.
