This is a handmade .925 sterling silver triquetra pendant I made based on the triquetra pendant from Charmed. I wanted to make a pendant that was sizable enough both men & men could wear it!

DETAILS

  • Pendant Dimensions: The pendant is 2cm high & 2cm wide. The bail has a 3mm wide opening, perfect for many chains.
  • Materials: available in either .925 sterling silver, a mix of 92.5% fine silver and 7.5% copper, or antique bronze, a mix of 90% copper and 10% tin. Both are free of nickel, zinc or cadmium, which are common metal allergens, which can cause rashes and sores. For more info on bronze, you can read the blog post about it or consult my FAQ page
  • Shipping info: Shipping is with tracking and full insurance. For international buyers, please be aware that taxes and duties are payable to your country and must be paid by the buyer and is not collected by me.
  • Please note that my pendants do not come with chains due to the high cost of materials. However, you can browse a variety of chains in the Chains & Engravings section of my shop if you are in need of one here

Triquetra (Latin tri- "three" and quetrus "cornered") originally meant "triangle" and was used to refer to various three-cornered shapes. It has come to refer exclusively to a particular more complicated shape formed of three vesicae piscis (the leaf-like shape in between two equal diameter circles when both centers are on the circumference of the other circle), sometimes with an added circle in or around the three lobes. Also known as a "trinity knot" when parallel doubled-lines are in the graph, the design is used as a religious symbol adapted from ancient Pagan Celtic images by Christianity, as is common in Christianity. It is similar to Odin's symbol, the valknut.
