A flash back to 60's style of jewellery, this is a handmade ankh pendant with a textured surface front and back. Available in .925 sterling silver or antique bronze.  I wanted to make a pendant for those who want a pendant with substance and size! It has an appeal to both sexes!

Beyond its aesthetic appeal, the Large Textured Ankh Pendant holds deep symbolism. As a symbol associated with both earthly existence and the afterlife, the Ankh serves as a powerful reminder of the connection between the mortal and the divine, making this Egyptian pendant more than just an accessory—it's a link to ancient wisdom.

The ankh, also known as crux ansata (the Latin for "cross with a handle") is an ancient Egyptian hieroglyphic ideograph with the meaning "life". The Egyptian gods are often portrayed carrying it by its loop, or bearing one in each hand, arms crossed over their chest. The ankh appears in hand or in proximity of almost every deity in the Egyptian pantheon (including Pharaohs). The ankh symbol was so prevalent that it has been found in digs as far as Mesopotamia and Persia, and even on the seal of the biblical king Hezekiah. The symbol also became popular in New Age mysticism in the 1960s.

Embrace the magic of ancient Egypt with our Ankh Pendant—a wearable homage to life, immortality, and the profound symbolism that resonates through the ages. Gift it to someone special or make it a part of your daily ensemble, inviting the timeless legacy of the Ankh into your everyday life.
